Glove Size Guide

Boxing gloves are available in a variety of sizes, and for someone new to the sport it can be difficult to understand which size glove is best for you.

Below are general recommendations, please ask your coach for more personalised guidance.

The smallest training glove in our Superloop and Superlace ranges. Great for fitness training or those with smaller hands. Suitable for pads and bags, but not recommended for sparring due to minimal padding.

A lightweight glove ideal for pad and bag work. Perfect for fitness training or honing technique and skills.

Not recommended for sparring due to limited padding.

A versatile all-round training glove for those with smaller hands or a smaller build. Suitable for pad work, bag work, and very light sparring. Offers a comfortable fit with good hand protection, making them ideal for beginners. Not recommended for sparring unless you're small in size or under 14 years old.

Recommended for: All-round training for those with smaller hands or under 60kg.

The most popular all-round training glove and a great choice for beginners. Fits average-sized hands well and can be used for pad work, bag work, and sparring for those under 72kg. Offers solid protection and helps you get used to training in a heavier glove.

Recommended for: Standard all-round training. Under 72kg.

The standard sparring glove at most gyms worldwide. Extra padding protects both you and your sparring partner. Can also be used for bag and pad work, though they'll feel heavier than smaller gloves. Smaller boxers may be able to spar in 14oz if their gym allows it.

Recommended for: Sparring, or all-round training for heavier individuals. Under 80kg.

Designed for heavier weight classes with larger hands needing extra protection. Provides maximum padding for sparring, keeping both you and your opponent safe. Best suited for those of bigger build and hand size.
